Title: Turp Salati / Asian Radish Salad

Yield: 4 Servings

1mdDaikon/white Asian radish
1lgCarrot, peeled and grated.
1/2tsSugar, or more to taste.
3tbOil, olive
2tbLemon juice, fresh
  Salt, to taste.

Peel the radish and grate. Gently squeeze out some but not all the liquid from the radish. Place in a salad bowl.

Add the carrot, 1/2 tspn of sugar, oil, and lemon juice and toss. Season with salt and add more sugar, if desired. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

This salad is a traditional accomaniament to Lamb pifaf.
